Dr. Jesse Siegel

Dr. Jesse Siegel is the founder and co-operator of NeuroBridge Assessments®, PLLC, and co-owner of Triangle Neuropsychology Services, PLLC, a community neuropsychology practice based in Raleigh, North Carolina. He is an adult neuropsychologist with over 10 years of experience and has worked in a variety of settings, including group practices, hospital systems, inpatient services, and community mental health.

He completed both his internship and fellowship training through the Veterans Health Administration. During his fellowship, the COVID-19 pandemic required rapid adaptation of neuropsychological services to ensure continued access to care. Dr. Siegel was actively involved in transitioning assessment practices to a virtual platform and has continued to refine his expertise in tele-neuropsychology since then.

Throughout his career, Dr. Siegel has evaluated thousands of individuals with diverse concerns, including neurological illness, ADHD, concussions, multiple sclerosis, and neurodegenerative conditions. He also conducts evaluations for academic accommodations and provides second-opinion consultations.

Dr. Siegel is a member of APA Division 40 (Neuropsychology), the National Academy of Neuropsychology (NAN), and the International Neuropsychological Society (INS). He does not take a one-size-fits-all approach to neuropsychology. Instead, he tailors each evaluation to the individual’s needs, emphasizing clear communication, practical recommendations, and a respectful, patient-centered assessment process.

Dr. Bret Booth

Dr. Bret Booth is co-operate of NeuroBridge® Assessments, PLLC, and co-owner of Triangle Neuropsychology Services, PLLC. He earned his B.A. at University of Virginia and Psy.D. at the APA-accredited American School of Professional Psychology – Washington, DC. He completed his post-doc training in clinical neuropsychology in Raleigh, NC serving a primary outpatient neurology population. He has extensive experience over the past decade working as a clinical neuropsychologist providing assessment, diagnosis, and treatment recommendations for adult patients with cognitive complaints. He currently treats cognitive difficulties in patients ages 18 and up, specializing in dementia, neurological disorders, neurodevelopmental conditions, chronic health problems, psychiatric illness, psychotropic medication side effects, and traumatic brain injury. He has assisted the Carolina Hurricanes as part of the NHL concussion management program and has been actively involved in research studies/clinical trials to benefit neurocognition.

Dr. David Austin

Dr. David Austin is a clinical neuropsychologist with experience in general adult and geriatric neuropsychology. He earned his bachelor's degree in psychology at the University of Tennessee-Chattanooga and doctoral degree at the University of Indianapolis in the APA-accredited clinical psychology Psy.D. program. He completed predoctoral internship at the Alexandria VA Healthcare System and postdoctoral residency in clinical neuropsychology at the VA Maine Healthcare System specializing in rural neuropsychology.

Dr. Austin is a full-time clinical neuropsychologist at VA Maine and serves as a clinical training supervisor at the Togus campus where he supervises practicum students, predoctoral interns, and postdoctoral residents. His clinical interests include dementia differential diagnosis, rural mental healthcare, and assessment and treatment of PTSD.

Dr. Austin is a combat veteran, having served as an infantryman in Iraq assigned to 1-502nd Infantry Regiment, 101st Airborne Division. Dr. Austin’s previous research activities include investigating the construct grit in veterans with disabilities and examining the neurocognitive effects of mild-moderate COVID-19 infection and Lyme disease.  

Dr. Stefan Schalk

Dr. Stefan Schalk is a Board-Certified Clinical Psychologist and Clinical Neuropsychologist specializing in adult and geriatric populations. He earned his doctorate from Midwestern University in 2015 before completing a Postdoctoral Fellowship at Naval Medical Center Portsmouth. Dr. Schalk went on to complete a Neuropsychology Fellowship at UC San Diego, consulting across multidisciplinary teams in general neurology, neurosurgery, stroke, memory disorders, epilepsy, and movement disorders.

A veteran military provider, Dr. Schalk served in diverse operational and clinical leadership roles, including the sole active-duty neuropsychologist at the Intrepid Spirit Center specializing in traumatic brain injury (TBI) and Department Head of Outpatient Mental Health Services at Naval Hospital Camp Pendleton. His military service includes conducting crisis, assessment and selection, and forensic evaluations for the Navy, as well as operational deployments as the sole psychologist aboard the USNS Comfort and USS Harry S. Truman. He is an active member of professional organizations including the American Psychological Association (Divisions 12, 19, and 40), International Neuropsychological Society, National Academy of Neuropsychology, and the Defense and Veterans Brain Injury Center. He remains dedicated to mentoring trainees and early-career clinicians.
